Welcome to the Lester Family Virtual Reunion - We held our reunion at Eucalyptus Park in Hawthorne on Saturday, Aug 5, 2006. For those of you who could not make it, here are some pictures and other tidbits from the day so you can enjoy it, too. Let's not wait so long for another reunion.
We had a nice attendance, with representation from eight of the ten families, missing only Ray's family and Tom's family, 53 in all. Mark Gilbertson cooked up a mighty tasty BBQ and we had more food than we could eat. We spent time visiting, looking at family genealogy, and just having fun in general. The little ones enjoyed the wading pool, and the older ones played some hoops. Those of us who came enjoyed it immensely and missed those of you who didn't make it. Let's aim for a bigger turnout next time and try and get the kids more involved - a campout maybe (with a hotel close by for the noncampers among us, of course). Who'd like to organize the next one?

Family memory book questionnaire - Please fill one of these out if you haven't already. We really want to have all the family information by October 1 so we can send the book to press. Our plan now is to have the books available online through a "print-to-order" printing house so anyone who wants one can order it when they want and no one will have to worry about collecting money or a minimum order. We will let you know when they will be ready for orders. The plan now is to have them before Christmas.
