Aunt Irene's clock

This clock belonged to the father of Grandpa Heise, who was stepfather to Lenise's Grandfather - Arnold Hansen. We obtained it from Great Aunt Irene's estate sale. It is a Welch model Gadski, made in 1894. It was an almost uniform brown when we got it, but after a thorough cleaning, you can see it is really a beautiful piece. It still runs and "bongs" on the hour and "dings" on the half hour.
