Wind power is big business in Denmark, and in Lolland in particular. There are many windmil farms throughout the region, and off the coast of Nysted is the largest offshore windmill farm in the world, with 72 giant turbines with 40-meter-long blades. My picture of the offshore windmills did not turn out, but these were on the road back to the ferry landing.
