I'm Lenise Cook - Dick's oldest daughter. My husband Jeff and I will have been married 25 years this June. We live in Garden Grove, Ca with our four children, James 23, Christie 21, Mike 20, and Kellyanne 6. (those trailers either keep you young or kill you, I'm not sure which).
We live only 4 miles from Disneyland and have season passes, so if anyone comes to Disneyland, we'll be happy to meet you there.
My husband Jeff has worked for IBM for 27 years, now a specialist working on large systems hardware. He's home most of the time but can be sent off on short notice to most anywhere in the country where they need him.
I do medical transcription and have done it at home for the last 18 years or so. It lets me go on field trips with the kids and I enjoy the flexibility. I enjoy playing around with scrapbooking, genealogy, and
some desktop publishing, among other things.
Oldest son James wants to be a chef and is taking culinary arts classes at Orange Coast College and is my computer guru that keeps me from tearing my hair out when something doesn't work the way I think it should.
Christie just graduated from Special classes at La Quinta High School
and we are trying to find an appropriate program for her. She enjoys
cooking and scrapbooking.
Mike is a musician - majoring in jazz saxophone at Fullerton college now and planning on going to UCLA next year. He had a guaranteed transfer if he spent two years at junior college, so he is hoping the application and audition process he is going through right now are mere formalities.
Kellyanne, our trailer, is in first grade and keeps us all on our toes.
We have had to have funerals lately for some goldfish she got at a
carnival, and she makes sure we do it all right, with a special dinner
afterwards and everything. With five adults in the house, she's maybe a little spoiled.
